BabyPointGates BIA Is reporting a new Hardware store on Annette St. at Jane.

The new hardware store is to be located in the old Ward and Patch sports store. How lucky the community is. A local hardware is a boon, of convenience and usually excellent advice of a host of mechanical and outdoor needs.

Also they tend to attract loitering construction types and DIYers. Always a nice sight until the police move them along.

Link to the site, and a great page there listing stores available.

Junction Rd / Weston Rd shutdown to last for months more.

The west Toronto Diamond separation projection will keep the Junction Rd / Weston Rd roadway shutdown to last for months more.

This section of the airport rail link involves the construction of a major underpass where one railroad track will pass over another.

Historically the trains traveled over trackage that crossed each other at a level crossing, requiring one train to stop while another passed.

All this construction will remove this rail travel limitation.

The congestion this construction causes it appears to be a major headache for the local police who have to come down to southern part of their division by Keele St only.

The reopening of the Junction Rd / Weston Rd way will allow the police a much quicker travel way into the south end of their division.

So what's the work at the Junction Rd / Weston Rd diamond separate now.

Here are a number of photographs of the site currently. The large round objects are the concrete filled steel tubes that will
form the barrier wall as the dig out the ground to form the underpass.

The following images are of sound deadening shrouds used during the driving in of the steel piles.

The blog intends to put a page of all the image being sent in once the uploading issue presently troubling the blog is fixed.

- Posted during the hosting companies Wordpress hosting problems. The blog is working to remove the problems associated with this.

Blogging nightmares

-The blog is having its greatest difficulty in 4 years of being right now, presently it cannot upload images, text, themes, renew plugins etc as the hosting company has upgraded the php code to 5.3.8 and they turn me to simply recompile the 30 or small files that make wordpress loop.

Recouping php is something I do not know to do, and am working fixing the problem.

Right now the blog has to be published using an iPhone app which works, in a very limited way.

Hope to have this fixed soon.

Yet with all the stores coming to the mall just over the way, what type of store would this be?

Gantry contraption at the rubber processing plant a beautiful industrial artifact.

This author does not think this structure is currently in use, as the type of truck body sitting under it usually are not bulk carriers.

How the rubber plant used this structure, causes a bit of wonder.

It is typical of the type seen at locations of heavy industrial process, there are now few structures of this type in the Greater Junction Area.

The object can be seen at. National Rubber Techologies Corp.
