ReplyDeleteI know this blog doesn't discuss East of Keele, but there is an empty lot that has been for lease for years at Dundas and Indian Grove. Lately there is some activity there, it looks like a garden may be planted? Does anyone know what is going on?
ReplyDeleteDo you mean the old MacBride lot? I saw that on Friday, I was wondering what was going on too...
ReplyDeleteHey we do cover east of Keele look back on the posts
ReplyDeletethe lot is owned by United republic properties, the owner of which lives in the Junction, and also owns the building on the North east corner of Pacific and Dundas St.
I think they are renting it to a garden/landscape company

ReplyDeleteAlso: just dreaming here: but wouldn't that be the *perfect* place for the Farmer's Market?!
This lot also owed by united public, although the train platform was built and paid for by the Junction Arts festival
ReplyDeleteIt just looked like they were doing some new work over there... I thought maybe something exciting was coming :)
