I was very disappointed to see the second floor bay windows removed from this handsome looking building. It did not seem that they had to be removed from the difficulty that the worker was having while removing the supports - strong and solid why remove it? If viewed from across the street, one notices that this is part of a whole complete, design of the building. Now with some of it's charm removed, one can only hope that a future owner will consider the merits of it's facade and work with a architectural design team to give back it's dignity to our streetscape.
ReplyDeleteI agree
ReplyDeleteso glad to see some other people are disappointed in the bay window takedown.
