Tree stump removal ends over drive decades of tree presence

A while ago the city removed a ill tree from a local front yard. This evergreen tree had grow taller than the surrounding buildings and a pruning by a city contractor had left the tree in rough shape.

So down it came. It's will stayed the course thought with its remaining huge and growling stump. A large truck and a stump grinder came today and won.

A new tree will be planted though.
