Undoubtably the best parking spot at St. Joseph’s health Center is the electric charging station one by the phone company at the front entrance of the Queensway.
You will need a electric car and a flo account to use the station.
The city really needs to pass regulations, of cross charging use and pay as you go, charging stations.

The City of Toronto, in collaboration with the Toronto District School Board and the local screen industry, is launching a new pilot program called xoTO Schools. It will enable enhanced access for location filming at 11 pre-approved TDSB properties and provide opportunities for students to work alongside film and television professionals.
Mayor John Tory made the announcement today with Councillor Paula Fletcher (Ward 30 Toronto-Danforth), Chair of the Toronto Film, Television and Digital Media Board, alongside TDSB Director of Education John Malloy, TDSB Chair of the Board Robin Pilkey, TDSB Trustee Jennifer Story (Ward 15, Toronto-Danforth) and Victoria Harding, Associate Executive Director of the Directors Guild of Canada – Ontario.
The xoTO Schools pilot project will run until June 2019.

Filming at these locations will take place primarily during summer months and on evenings and weekends during the school year;
At the pre-approved locations, the scouting and permit application processes will be streamlined with designated permit personnel servicing applications. It will also feature a special daily rate card and a 72-hour permit turnaround timeline;
Co-op placements will be created through the academic year in categories such as makeup, hair, sound, special effects, props, set decoration, costume design, continuity, lighting, grip, construction, paint and transportation.

We are proud to announce that on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018, the City, in collaboration with the TDSB and the local screen industry, launched the xoTO Schools Pilot Project to enable enhanced access for location filming at 11 pre-approved TDSB sites as well as interactive educational opportunities for students.
NABET 700-M UNIFOR played a key role in establishing the pilot program, and was heavily involved in the recruitment and placement of its first co-op students on NABET 700-M UNIFOR signatory productions.
The xoTO Schools Pilot Project has been created to facilitate access to 11 pre-approved TDSB sites with an expedited permitting system, set daily rate cards and access to TDSB parking lots for production trucks,
all the while creating meaningful co-op placement opportunities for TDSB students in film productions and through industry experiences.

Summary
This report recommends establishing a planning framework to permit laneway suites on lands within the Toronto and East York District that are designated as Neighbourhoods by amending both the Official Plan and City-wide Zoning By-law.
The City's Official Plan does not reference or set out specific provisions for second units, however second units are permitted city-wide as-of-right in the City-wide Zoning By-law 569-2013. A second unit can take many forms but is generally considered to be subordinate to the primary dwelling unit on a lot. Second units are an important part of the City’s rental housing stock. Laneway suites are one form of second unit.
Similar to other second units, laneway suites are a part of complete communities. They can provide more opportunities for people to live in ground related housing, for residents to live close to where they work, shop, and play and, can help make the city's urban lanes more green, liveable, and safe. Laneway suites can contribute to increasing the supply of rental housing and provide additional housing options for households at different ages and life stages.
At its meeting of July 4, 2017, Toronto City Council directed City Planning staff, in consultation with numerous City Divisions, to initiate a review and consultation of the City's current policy and planning framework regarding laneway suites within the Toronto and East York District. City Planning staff were directed to prepare a report to Toronto and East York Community Council with recommended policy and Zoning By-law amendments necessary to implement a laneway suite strategy, and with recommendations on other related matters such as the provision of affordable housing and infrastructure costs.
This report contains a detailed planning rationale for the introduction and regulation of laneway suites within the Toronto and East York area and discusses the policy implications and intent of proposed performance standards and criteria. These performance standards and criteria intend that laneway suites will provide a new form of ground-related, rental and extended family housing that will fit appropriately within the scale of established Neighbourhoods, and limit their impact on the existing physical character, while contributing to the growth of the City’s rental housing stock.

Mr May a well know dry goods retailer undoubtly one of the Junction’s smartist businesspersons, lameted this in the 1900’s.
This happens across the city with BIA festivals, but not with resdent run festivals to the same degree.
Yet volunteering for the Junction Summer Solstice, can result in good for the community, the place your eyes and feet enjoy.

Seconds into his speech launching an election campaign on July 30, 1990, Premier David Peterson was interrupted. Greenpeace activist (and future Toronto city councillor) Gord Perks approached Peterson’s desk with an object handcuffed to his wrist. The premier’s wife thought her husband might be in danger — but the object was a tape recorder, playing a list of five reasons activists were upset with the Liberal government’s environmental record. Perks pressed Peterson for answers, holding up the press conference for several minutes before stepping aside.
Shocked and sweating, Peterson told the audience, “It’s going to be an interesting campaign.”
