Maple Leaf Mills/St Marys Cement repairs to window area

After many years of completely smashed out windows the warehouse part of the old Maple Leaf Mills  site - now used by St Marys Cement has had the window fenestration area repaired. Much the original window opening  has been filled in by plywood sheeting while a small area has a new window inset

43 Junction Rd whats happening?

The St Marys Cement plant on Junction Rd has a number of earth moving machines working at the site  now. In addition there is a now a construction office trailer on site.

The blog was unable to speak to anyone on site yesterday...wanted too because it's an interesting development on an area of the site that has simply been a trailer lot for so many years.

The those who what to see the increased industrial of the industrial areas of the Junction that are deemed core industrial areas by the city the reuse of the flour mill silos on Junction Rd. by St Mary's Cement was wonderful. Yet what actually the locating does is a mystery, is t simply a holding and transfer station between trains and road trucks or simply a storage location?
