Overall, I think this is a sloppy project. Only the bare minimum of the landmark Edwardian school was preserved. Preserving the entire facade would have looked much better than the black wall facing Osler Street. The new windows look very much out of place and seem to undermine the heritage architecture even moreso. The previous white sash windows were much more elegant. The original doorway facing Davenport Road has a thick group of trees planted in front of it. It's sad that in a city where we have many successful examples of preservation and reuse, we still see such questionable work.
